35-Hour Aligned Sound Bath Practitioner Certification and Training
This immersive, comprehensive training will have many opportunities to learn and practice how to facilitate meditative spaces with sound. The Aligned Sound Bath is focused on creating safe spaces through sound and meditation, allowing your students and clients to align and realign to the being within. This is about tuning into the space within using sound as a guide. Sound is a powerful meditation tool for others to cultivate a deep connection to the self.
Together, we’ll explore, learn, experience, and practice:
The impact of meditation on the body
Meditation techniques - how to share these practices with others
Cymatics - the study of sound made visible
Frequency, resonance, and entrainment
Basic music theory - how to use sounds and musicality to ease the body into a meditative state
Harmonics and chords
Overview of instruments used in sound healing - bowls, gongs, chimes
How to play quartz crystal and Tibetan singing bowls
Basic gong-playing techniques
How to pair bowls together for harmonic, beautiful sound baths - how and where to buy bowls, access to special student pricing
The arc of a sound bath - bringing participants in and out of the experience
How to facilitate authentic, safe experiences for private and group clients
The business of creating your sound bath offerings
Sample Training Schedule Overview
Level 1 35-Hour Weekend Immersion
Day 1: 5pm-7pm Opening circle and sound bath experience with Bella
Day 2: 9am-6pm (one-hour lunch break)
Day 3: 9am-6pm (one-hour lunch break)
Day 4: 9am-4pm (one-hour lunch break), 6pm-9pm Graduation Class & Celebration
+9 hours of self-study, pre-work reading, homework and instrument practice
Trainings are filled with content and opportunities to practice, intentionally capped at 8 participants to allow for experience and practice time. By the end of this training, you will be able to facilitate meditative experiences using sound for yourself and for others. Feel confident creating safe, inclusive spaces for others to explore and connect in meditation.
Graduation Class: we'll wrap our training by hosting a celebratory graduation class experience led by the group. You will have an opportunity to play various instruments, inviting friends and family to join, culminating our time together with you receiving your certificate of completion!
Training Location
Palm Desert - we’ll spend our time together at the lovely Soul Dive Yoga on El Paseo in the heart of Palm Desert.

FAQ
Do I need singing bowls to attend this training? You do not need bowls for this in-person/weekend intensive training, however, if you would like to bring yours to use during training, you are welcome to.
How do I know this training is for me? Trust the guidance within to lead you to the right learning space for you. Ask yourself - what is your intention and desire for learning sound baths? This is a hands-on course with a deep dive into practice, lots of time to experience sound, with a focus on crystal singing bowls, and bringing all of the pieces together to create a safe space for others with sound. If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out so we can connect.
Do you offer level 2 training? Yes, Level 2 training is a 3-month 1:1 individualized mentorship container. Together, we’ll develop individualized goals for you to develop your offerings as a sound practitioner. Graduates of the Aligned Sound Bath Training Level 1 program are given priority enrollment and tuition, however, spots are available for those who have taken another comparable foundational level course. You must have at least 3 crystal singing bowls for Level 2 mentorship. Enrollment is on a rolling basis. I take on no more than 2 mentees at a time. Are accommodations or meals included? Tuition covers the program and all inclusions listed above. Accommodations and meals are on your own. I am happy to provide recommendations or suggestions for lodging. Most of my students stay nearby in an Airbnb or hotel - many options at all price points are available.

Isabella Rivera is a soundbath facilitator, educator, and yoga teacher in the Coachella Valley and Los Angeles focused on creating experiences for individuals to connect to themselves and one another. She deeply believes in the power of meditation and yoga to cultivate a healthy dialogue with the inner being, tuning inward to connect with the mind, soul and body. Leaning on 16 years of experience in K-12 education as a teacher and administrator, she creates a safe space for individuals from all walks of life to explore and align to their truest, most beautiful self.
